About
THE CAPTAIN
Being a Trinidadian and growing up near the Point-a-Pierre yacht club I suppose it was only a matter of time that I would find myself sailing over to our sister isle Tobago, to start a yacht chartering business with my 36ft. sloop Chloe. I became the only sailing charter vessel operation in Tobago for 11yrs. offering a sailing trip along Tobago’s Caribbean coast that would stop at one of Tobago’s many secluded bays, where people could go snorkeling. During those years I grew more interested in snorkeling and reef fish behavior, so it was with a heavy heart that I decided to switch from a sailing boat to a power boat. This decision turned out for the best, because now I could take Tobago visitors to more of Tobago’s pristine snorkeling sites and with the time to enjoy them as well. I have learned a lot about Tobago’s abundant marine life since 1986 when I first sailed into Tobago’s beautiful waters and I find great joy in sharing this knowledge with others, especially with those who have never looked beneath the surface of the sea, I love to see the expression on their faces when they discover the beauty of a reef first hand.
THE ZOE EXPERIENCE
Like I mentioned earlier I have been taking people snorkeling to the many reefs and bays of Tobago since 1986 and apart from my extensive knowledge of reef fish behavior I know where and how to find some of the more elusive reef creatures, such as octopus and hawks bill turtles.Snorkels and fins are provided, also there are flotation devices for those who would prefer to just to bob and watch. My 3 hour tour is filled with fun and excitement, it takes you to the coral gardens and nylon pool of the buccoo reef. There’s also a chance we may encounter dolphins along Tobago’s north west coast on the way to snorkel at the Arnos Vale reef.
